Zen Meditation Classes

Chosun Taekwondo Academy 60 Galloway Road Unit 2 Warwick, NY 10990 845.986.2288 Every third Sunday of the month Next session: Sunday June 26, 2022 Ages 12 and Above NO CHARGE (Contribution accepted for WARWICK ZEN) We will cover the basics of meditation posture, how to handle thoughts during meditation, basic breathing practices, and spend some time sitting in Zazen (Zen meditation), as well as sharing some stories from the rich history of Zen, and a discussion of how this ancient practice is deeply relevant to our lives today. The classes will be led by Jacob Seiryo Gendelman, leader of WARWICK ZEN, an affiliate of Yokoji Zen Mountain Center. WARWICK ZEN is a Zen practice group committed to fostering an inclusive, welcoming community. All are welcome regardless of experience.
